Taking Your Ride to Beach Hop? Here is How you can get Prepped!

No matter what you are bringing down, whether it’s your daily driver, weekend cruiser or your full-blown show car made for events like Beach Hop, pre-show prep is super important! Get your vehicle looking sharp, especially the paintwork perfect in the days leading up to the event so that you just need to maintain and add a few finishing touches on the day!

 

Wheels first

Clean your wheels before the body of your car, that way no brake dust or other dirt will make its way onto your freshly cleaned paint! Meguiar’s Ultimate All Wheel Cleaner is safe to use on all types of wheels, simply just spray onto dry wheels and watch as the deep cleaning gel formula turns brake dust purple and road grime brown as it loosens the contaminants. Simply just rinse off and move onto the next step.

 

Time to Wash

2 buckets and a Grit Guard please!! Wash starting from the top and working your way down, when your mitt gets dirty go to the second bucket and rub the mitt against the grit guard to remove dirt then back into the clean water bucket and continue. Rinse the car and dry with Meguiar’s Microfibre Drying Towel, don’t forget to dry the rims with a different towel than what you used on the body!

Prep for Wax
Do you have paint swirls or other minor paint defects?
