ONLINE STORE TERMS & CONDITIONS

We endeavour to create a marketplace in which any problems can be addressed in a friendly manner. In the case of returns, refunds and faulty items we will make every effort to mediate a positive resolution. Our terms require that products are described and photographed clearly, as well as packaged in a manner to ensure they arrive in the best condition.

Returns for Credit or Refund

Products supplied in accordance with the buyer’s order can only be returned with our express approval on the following conditions:

(a) Requests to return products must be submitted within 7 days from the date of receiving your email confirming your order has been despatched.

(b) Where the return of products is accepted (for credit or refund at our/the sellers discretion) they must be delivered at the buyer’s expense to Meguiar's New Zealand Ltd in original condition and packaging to the address specified on the acceptance of the claim.

(c) Returned products are the buyer’s responsibility until they reach us; 

(d) We shall not be responsible for misdirected shipments or products lost or damaged in transit;  

(e) Any refunds (at our discretion) will be refunded in the form of the original payment method used by the buyer (excluding all delivery charges) and a 10% restocking fee may apply.  

(f) When returning goods it is imperative that buyer repackages goods adequately to prevent damage in transit and retains proof of delivery until we can confirm receipt of the item. We do not accept any responsibility for any returned item that goes missing or is damaged in transit; 

(g) We will not refund “specials/sale” items.

 

Faulty Returns

We will provide product replacements or refund for faulty goods on the following conditions:

(a) Requests to return products must be submitted within 7 days from the date of receiving your email confirming your order has been despatched.

(b) Where the return of products is accepted they must be delivered at the buyer’s expense to Meguiar's New Zealand in original condition and packaging or repackaged to a high standard where necessary (please see (f));

(c) Returned products are the buyer’s responsibility until they reach us; 

(d) We shall not be responsible for misdirected shipments or products lost or damaged in transit; 

(e) We reserve the right to assess the condition and age of the returned goods prior to offering a replacement or refund;

(f) If we deem the goods as faulty, buyer shall also be reimbursed for the cost of returning the goods. We reserve the right to request for a copy of the invoice of such costs paid by the buyer;

(g) Any refunds (at our discretion) will be refunded in the form of the original payment method used by the buyer;

(h) In the case of returns requests after 7 days from date of shipping, each case will be considered on the terms of the individual seller;

(i) In the above case (h), it is the buyer’s responsibility to bear any return costs involved and adhere to individual manufacturer warranty instructions;

(j) We will not refund “specials/sale” items.

 

Buyers Obligation

It is important that during the order process you enter the correct delivery address. If there is any error in the address specified, redelivery to the correct address will incur an additional delivery charge.

As an additional security measure to protect your account and order, we will now require a valid contact number which can be used to confirm the identity of the person placing the order.

Please choose a suitable address for delivery where someone will be available to receive it. In most cases, orders are sent 'signature required' for security, so consider choosing a workplace delivery. NB> Courier companies deliver more often to business addresses, so it can be an advantage to use your work address.

It is your responsibility to notify us if an order is not delivered when expected. We will then contact the courier company for clarification. In most instances with products delivered by courier, a tracking number will be provided to you when your order has been despatched.

We will not be held liable for any loss or damage arising from a late or missing delivery. A late delivery does not constitute reasonable means to cancel an order.

Please check dispatch times on each listing. Dispatch days are counted as business days. Couriers can sometimes be delayed, we cannot be held responsible for couriers that fail to meet their advertised deadlines. We will help with tracking and finding a way to get your order to you as quickly as we can. However once a parcel is on a courier van, we have no control over the time it is delivered.

If you require an order urgently, please contact us to check on dispatch times and please notify us in a message at the cart if your order is urgent.

Some products that fall under the coverage of the Hazardous Substances and New Organism Act 1996, are restricted to be supplied to workplaces only. The Hazardous Substances (Hazardous Property Controls) Notice 2017 has a mandatory requirement for the Company to be satisfied when supplying these products to the customer that they have authorised personnel (a holder of permission from the EPA) or a competent person (a certified handler compliant with the Health and Safety at work (Hazardous Substances) Regulations 2017) at the workplace where the product is to be supplied.

Customers will need to provide documentation to confirm that they are compliant. The Company reserves the right to restrict supply and/or refund the payment if the requirements for these products cannot be met.

Pick Up Orders

All pick up orders now require a copy of Photo ID to be submitted before the order is released.

 

Rural Delivery

As per above, delivery to such addresses may incur additional freight charges which the buyer pays for prior to dispatch of goods. The buyer must allow a longer delivery time to such addresses. If a rural charge is stated, that option must be selected for an RD delivery.

It is the buyer’s responsibility to order early if buyer’s address is on the rural delivery service. We will not be held liable for any loss or damage arising from a late or missing delivery. A late delivery does not constitute reasonable means to cancel an order.

 

 

Meguiar's NZ Black Friday Sale Terms & Conditions

1. Promotion Overview
The Meguiar's NZ Black Friday Sale offers exclusive discounts, free shipping, and the chance to win a Meguiar's Prize Pack. This promotion is available only online at www.meguiars.co.nz, subject to availability.

2. Promotion Period
The Meguiar's NZ Black Friday Sale runs from Wednesday, 20 November 2024 until Monday, 25 November 2024 at 11:59pm. Any orders placed after this period will not be eligible for the discounts or prize draw.

3. Eligibility

  • This promotion is open to residents of New Zealand only.
  • By participating, customers confirm that they meet the eligibility requirements and agree to these Terms & Conditions.

4. FREESHIP Code

  • To qualify for free shipping, a minimum spend of $50 is required in a single transaction.
  • The FREESHIP code must be applied at checkout to receive free shipping.
  • Free shipping applies to standard delivery within New Zealand only. Additional charges may apply for expedited or international shipping.

5. Meguiar's Prize Pack Giveaway

  • All orders over $80 placed during the sale period (20 November to 25 November) will automatically go into the draw to win a Meguiar's Prize Pack valued at $260.
  • The prize is non-transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash.
  • The prize draw is per transaction. Multiple entries are allowed if the customer places multiple orders over $80, each qualifying as an entry.
  • The winner will be selected at random and contacted via the email address provided at the time of purchase.
  • The winner must respond to the prize notification within 7 days. If no response is received, Meguiar's NZ reserves the right to select another winner.

6. Product Availability

  • Products are available while stocks last. In the event that a product is out of stock, Meguiar's NZ will not be liable to fulfill the order and reserves the right to cancel the purchase.
  • All product descriptions, images, and prices are subject to change without notice.

7. Shipping and Delivery

  • Free shipping is available for orders over $50 with the use of the FREESHIP code.
  • Delivery times may vary depending on the customer’s location and are subject to carrier availability. Delivery may be delayed due to high demand during the sale period.
  • Orders will only be shipped once full payment has been received and processed.

8. Returns and Exchanges

  • Meguiar's NZ standard return policy applies to all purchases.
  • Sale items are eligible for return or exchange only if they are faulty or damaged upon arrival, in accordance with New Zealand consumer rights laws.
  • Proof of purchase is required for any returns or exchanges.

9. Payment

  • All orders must be paid for in full before they are processed. Accepted payment methods will be available at checkout.

10. Limitation of Liability

  • Meguiar's NZ is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of promotional products or services.
  • Meguiar's NZ reserves the right to amend, suspend, or cancel the promotion at any time, in its sole discretion, without notice or liability.

11. General Terms

  • By participating in the Meguiar's NZ Black Friday Sale, customers agree to comply with all the terms set out in these Terms & Conditions.
  • Meguiar’s NZ reserves the right to amend or update these Terms & Conditions without notice. Any changes will be posted on our website.
